Exam 640-802 replaces this exam for the CCNA certification.
Cisco has done a major upgrade to the CCNA certification, calling it the CCNA 3.0 certification. There are now two exam tracks to reach this certification. The single-exam track requires you to take the 640-801 CCNA exam. If you are somewhat new to Cisco networking, you can also achieve your CCNA by taking TWO exams - 640-821 (INTRO exam) AND 640-811 (Interconnecting Cisco Networking Devices).

- Classless Routing (including variable-length subnet masking)
- RIP - Version 2
- Single Area OSPF
- EIGRP
- Switch Configuration (using IOS command set from Catalyst 2950 series)
- VLAN Configuration and Implementation (using IOS command set from Catalyst 2950 series), including DOT1Q
- Wireless Ethernet
