Exam 1z0-147: Program with PL/SQL
In a large company, you no doubt use a large amount of data, or you create a huge amount of data. When that happens you need a place to store it. Most businesses use what is known as a database that can take raw data and store it for future use. One particular database that many businesses use is Oracle. This is because it has a powerful feature to it called SQL. This is a program that runs when you do a search for information in the database. If you happen to be a database administrator, or have connections with Oracle and you run queries using SQL, or you develop programs using PL (programming language) to create the queries, your position with the company would improve tremendously if you obtained your certification.
In order to get certified, you as the database administrator would have to provide evidence that you know how to use SQL and in particular PL. You will need to list the components of a PL/SQL block, and show how procedures and functions are used in relation to a PL/SQL command. You would have to describe how PL/SQL works, how to use it to create applications, create procedures, create functions, create packages, create database triggers, and manage subprograms. The test has about 66 questions and takes roughly 90 minutes to complete. You would need a score of 77% to pass and get your certification.
As a database administrator, by taking the 1z0-147: Program with PL/SQL exam from TestKing, you will not only show proof that you are able to create programs that will execute SQLs, or run SQLs directly, you will add a valuable credential to your already accumulated skill set, and in turn become your company’s top dog.
