Exam NR0-017: Teradata Masters Update V2R5 

When it comes to the Teradata Masters Update, the only way to gain this certification is if you already have the Teradata Certified Masters (V2R3). Without this previous certification, you would not qualify to go after the update certification. The main point for the NR0-017: Teradata Masters Update V2R5 exam is to allow those technicians, who already have the V2R3 Master to upgrade to the V2R5 Masters certification.

If you take the NR0-017 exam, you have already proved yourself a Teradata Master user by having taken the Teradata Certified Masters V2R3 certification. This means you are very familiar with Teradata and all its applications. This includes knowing the Teradata database system. Part of taking the exam is knowing about indexes and PPI, workload management, database management, database enhancements, application enhancements, and active data warehousing. There are 7 sections to the exam. These sections include:

• Application Enhancements
• Active Data Warehousing

The NR0-017 exam consists of 84 questions and takes about 105 minutes to complete. You need a score of 600 out of 800 to pass. Plus, you need to have worked with Teradata V2R5 technology for at least a year, and also have up to three years experience with Teradata databases and applications.
