Exam NR0-012: Teradata Physical Implementation V2R5

Many companies use databases to store data and to be able to retrieve what data they need at any given time. These companies use various types of databases. One database that is used most extensively is Teradata. Teradata is a powerful relational database system. In order to use it a technician would need up to 12 months experience working with V2R5 Teradata technology and up to 18 months working with Teradata databases, plus, pass the NR0-012: Teradata Physical Implementation V2R5 exam. When this exam is passed, the technician then qualifies to do physical implementations of the Teradata database system. 

If you take the NR0-012 exam, it will measure your knowledge in Physical Database Design and Teradata Performance. The actual Teradata Physical Implementation exam counts as one of two exams toward the Teradata Implementation Specialist certification. There are 6 sections to the exam. These sections include:

• Physical Database Design Overview
• Physical Database Operations
• Join Access and Index Choices
• Teradata Analysis
• Database Objects
• Database Space Management

The NR0-012 exam consists of 60 questions and takes about 75 minutes to complete. You need a score of 540 - 800 to pass.
