ISM Certification Overview
The Mission of ISM is to lead supply management.
• Three main points underscore the Mission. These are:
• Expand the sphere of influence of supply management.
• Align Institute for Supply Management's organization with its Mission.
• Enhance Institute's revenue generation to ensure the resources necessary to support the Mission.
Thre various ISM Certification include:
CPM: The Certified Purchasing Manager (C.P.M.) program is specifically designed for experienced supply managers, with a focus on managerial and leadership skills, plus a variety of specialized functions.
CPSM: The Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) program will debut in 2008. The new Qualification will be relevant internationally and reflect the expanded education, skills and experience needed for supply managers to be successful as the profession evolves into the 21st Century.
APP: The Accredited Purchasing Practitioner (A.P.P.) designation is specifically designed for entry-level supply management professionals, or those primarily engaged in the operational side of the supply function.
Most of those who have earned one or more ISM certifications have done so through self-study, mainly because of the cuts in IT training budgets in recent years. With that in mind, TestKing has developed high quality and affordable study materials that will help you pass your certification exams quickly and easily, the first time.
