Exam A00-204: SAS Warehouse Architect Concepts

By taking and passing the A00-204 exam, you provide proof that you have experience using SAS technologies in data warehousing and exploitation, which includes the ability to gather the correct data, and design, implement, test, and deploy data warehouse solutions. As long as you have the knowledge to develop information based on customer requirements and can communicate these requirements to customers, and any other necessary party, you would be qualified to work be a SAS Warehouse Architect system. 

To pass this exam you will have to provide input into the definition of the project specification by gathering high-level information from customers using such devices as interviews, any past documents that are on hand, and providing workshops so you can gather the necessary information required to arrive at the proper specifications. You will need to look at your environment to determine if there are any constraints to the current customer’s demands to decide if enough info has been gathered. Plus, you will have to determine if the system has the capability of performing as it should based on what data you have gathered. You will also have to define the subject model, logical model, and physical model in order to store the data you will need to make sure it meets all the requirements for the system in use.
