Exam 920-172: NCSS - Nortel Communication Control Toolkit Rls. 6.0   

If you have a Contact Center Rls. 6.0 system in your company, you may also have a Nortel Communication Control Toolkit Rls. 6.0 (NCCT). In order to do any installation, maintenance, configuration, and day-to-day operations on the system, your technician must pass the 920-172: NCSS - Nortel Communication Control Toolkit Rls. 6.0 exam.

In the Product Fundamentals section you will describe the components, operations, and methods of connecting the NCCT Rls. 6.0. You will describe the how security is managed with the NCCT Rls. 6.0 and the transport system. You will also be responsible to describe the key features and functions of the NCCT Rls. 6.0 and how it works. In the Installation and Configuration section you will describe the switch resources and configuration data, and how it all relates to the NCCT Rls. 6.0. You will be required to perform installation of the NCCT Rls. 6.0 system including all products, SNMP, and patches. You will also be required to show how to install the Nortel Networks Performance Enhancement Packages and Service Updates, as is required to successfully run the NCCT Rls. 6.0. In the Network and Customer Domain Configurations section, you will just need to figure out the correct types of network connectivity needed for a certain NCCT Rls. 6.0 installation. In the NCCT Operational Activation and Administration section you will configure the NCCT Rls. 6.0 server, the TAPI SP database, and the Phone Dialer. In System Management you will need to show how to backup the NCCT database and the TAPI SP database. In the Fault Management section you will only need to explain how the Windows Event Viewer works to detect and isolate any NCCT Rls. 6.0 problems, and show the possible solutions for those problems.
