BEA Certified Administrator: System Administration
An administrator who is capable of the planning, installation, configuration, deployment and management of platform suite installations or applications built on BEA technologies. System administrators perform network configuration, implement physical architectures, create and implement quality of service parameters, and set up monitoring and management guidelines. System Administration designation proves expertise in backing up and restoring systems, performing regular application and infrastructure maintenance, and integrating infrastructure applications with Web servers and firewalls.

The BEA Certified Administrator Certification has one designation each for both BEA WebLogic Server 8.1 and BEA WebLogic Server 9.
