BEA Certified Architect
The BEA Certified Architect Certification has two designations: one focuses on product/technology, while the other focuses on SOA concepts, design and implementation.
BEA Certified Architect: BEA SOA Enterprise Architecture
An SOA Enterprise Architecture Certification designation demonstrates a high level of expertise in applying the BEA SOA Domain Model and Reference Architecture to enterprise-scale scenarios. The SOA Enterprise Architecture candidate must understand both technical and organizational issues and how to deal with the conflicts between the two by using best practices, design principles, and industry standard organizational models. The candidate must also be adept at making architectural decisions in an SOA context, ensuring best-of-breed technology identification and implementation.
BEA Certified Architect: Enterprise Architecture for BEA WebLogic 8.1
An Enterprise Architecture designation proves proficiency in the workings and understanding of the BEA product stack, including BEA WebLogic Server, BEA WebLogic Workshop, BEA WebLogic Portal, and BEA WebLogic Integration. Additionally, the designation ensures that the candidate has command of common design patterns and best practices for Enterprise Application design.
