
Exam 050-876: Upgrade to NetWare 6
If you have a large network at your place of business and you are using Novell NetWare version 5, you more than likely aware of the newer version of NetWare. This is NetWare 6. NetWare 6 has many more features and benefits that make it a better operating system than version 5. Your network administrator should know about the newer version, especially if he is a mid to advanced-level network administrator. Obviously the goal of your company is to upgrade to NetWare version 6. But to do that your network administrator must know NetWare 5 like the back of their hand, and are able to handle the advanced technology of NetWare 6. Before the network administrator will be able to upgrade the system, he must be certified. This is where he needs to pass the 050-876: Upgrade to NetWare 6 certification.
Novell’s 050-876: Upgrade to NetWare 6 happens to be the only exam your Certified Network Engineer (CNE), who is already certified in using NetWare 5, needs to become certified in NetWare 6.
There are about 130 questions on the exam, that covers most content about upgrading from NetWare 5 to NetWare 6. The network administrator will have to answer questions dealing with various scenarios, showing how to upgrade the operating system and what steps are required to do so. The test usually takes about 90 minutes to complete.
