Exam 050-677: Foundations of Novell Networking: NetWare 6

As a large company, you may have just created a network so you can connect all your computers together so you can place your existing applications in one place. To be able to tap into the network you need an operating system. The best operating system is Novell’s NetWare 6. Novell’s NetWare 6 offers seven new Web-based features you won’t find in NetWare 5. These features include iFolder, iPrint, iManager, NetWare Web Access, Native File Access Pack, NetStorage, and NetDrive. But in order to implement the software on your network you need a network administrator who knows about NetWare 6 to install the program and run it. Your network administrator would need to be certified. To be certified, he has to pass the 050-677: Foundations of Novell Networking: Netware 6 exam.

Novell’s 050-677: Foundations of Novell Networking: NetWare 6 exam happens to be the only exam you will need to pass to obtain your Certified Novell Administrator (CNA) 6 certification. This exam is also part of the core requirements for the Certified Novell Engineer (CNE) 6 certification. 

There are about 68 questions on the exam that covers most content about NetWare 6 including features and highlights of the operating system. The network administrator will have to answer questions dealing with various scenarios, showing his knowledge of NetWare 6 and what NetWare 6 consists of. The test usually takes about 60 minutes to complete.
