Exam 3X0-103: Linux Networking 

If your company has Linux installed on their network, and it is the primary operating system used on the servers, and it is the only system that is connected to the network, they will need to have someone capable and qualified to work on such a system and to integrate it into your network environment. If you happen to already possess the knowledge of Linux to install and configure it, and you also have depth of knowledge to work at the command-line, and manipulate the system using command-line arguments, you should build on that by being able to use tools to integrate your Linux system so it can communicate across your network. In order to accomplish this feat you need to pass the 3X0-103: Linux Networking exam. 

By taking and passing the 3X0-103 exam, you provide proof that you have the knowledge and skills necessary to administer Linux-based systems and networks. You will need to describe the common network services and explain common Linux and GNU network-related packages. The exam will cover such topics as Apache, ssh, telnet, ftp, bind, sendmail, and many other services that Linux uses. You will have to show you know how to configure a network using the console tools provided. These tools will include insmod, ifconfig, and route. You will also have to be familiar with common network architectures and topologies.

If you work in the IT field, and you are constantly working around or with Linux or any of its eight distributions, and you have Linux on your network, you would do well to take the 3X0-103: Linux Networking exam from TestKing and pass it.
