Exam 1z0-223: Oracle Order Management 11i Fundamentals
If you are a large corporation, you obviously have a purchasing department. And as part of your purchasing department, you probably have an order management system in place to help you with orders you purchase for your company. If this is the case, you probably have someone who is very knowledgeable about the software and system, who not only can install the software, but can configure it. On the other hand, if you do have a purchasing department, but you have as yet to implement an order management system for your company, the first stage before you get involved in the program is by learning the fundamentals of the system. This is where having a knowledge of the system is required to know the fundamentals, so the person can use the software. If you have a guy that knows Oracle’s Order Management system, this person should be certified. This way the person would be qualified to handle such a powerful system.
If you are a purchasing agent or the person responsible for handling the order management system, and you are looking to get certified, you will need to explain the order to cash process including the order entry all the way through to ban recs. You will have to explain the entire order management process such as the positioning of Order Management in the Order to Cash lifecycle, the Ship-to-Stock fulfillment model, Configure-to-order, and how customer relationships are involved. You will also need to describe the Enterprise Structure, and components of the Party Model. You will have to show how to enter orders and manage those orders, along with performing an order inquiry and explaining the pricing concept. The test has about 68 questions and takes roughly 90 minutes to complete. You would need a score of 64% to pass and get your certification.
As a purchasing agent, or one in charge of the order processing, if you pass the 1z0-223: Oracle Order Management 11i Fundamentals exam from TestKing, you would become qualified to handle the order management system and all that is required to run and use it.
